As for the blue screen, it will be due to using an incompatible AppleSMBIOS.kext or having the permissions on AppleSMBIOS.kext set incorrectly.

Note: The AppleSMBIOS is one I made for use on my Laptop, it works fine with CS3 etc. though may require a system profiler patch to be applied for the Hardware Overview to show correctly - I can't remember if I applied or not.
Remember to chmod -R 755 and chown -R root:wheel both kexts!my first post here as a Moderator!
